Georgia Center Select Wing Upgrades
Pre-Construction, Construction Administration, Field Supervision
The project began with the demolition of ceilings and lighting in four floors of the GA Center Hotel Select Wing to accommodate new duct work from two new rooftop units. The rooftop units were installed to bring outside air into the hallways and hotel rooms. After the duct work was completed, new ceilings and lighting were installed. The project consisted of 2,000 sf of ceilings and HVAC systems and was completed during a 6-week time frame over the winter holiday season.
Statement of Satisfaction
“The Superintendent, Foreman, and construction crews were a pleasure to work with. They were especially considerate of our staff and guests, while completing a fairly invasive renovation, of our occupied facility. DSI demonstrated excellent communication skills, innovative design solutions, and followed through to the last detail.” – Emily Newdow, Facilities Manager, UGA, The Georgia Center for Continuing Education Hotel & Conference Center
