Gospel Pilgrim Cemetery

Project Description

Completed in 2008, this project consisted primarily of site work improvements to a historic cemetery on the outskirts of downtown Athens. Pathways were cleared and granite benches installed so relatives and historians could better access gravesites, many of which had long since been grown over. There is a historical marker placed at the entrance to the cemetery providing additional information on some of the notable gravesites contained within.
